The Rock Township Ambulance, Rock Community Fire Protection District and Jefferson County 911 Dispatch are competing in a challenge to collect the most blood for the American Red Cross.
The agencies are sponsoring a Battle of the Badges blood drive from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. Thursday (March 4) at the First Baptist Church of Arnold, 2012 Missouri State Road.
Donors will receive a $5 Amazon gift card by mail. The agency that collects the most blood will win bragging rights.
American Red Cross will donate the collected blood to area hospitals.
