The Arnold Rotary Club will hold its sixth annual Jefferson County’s Got Talent show at 7 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 11, at Rickman Auditorium, 745 Jeffco Blvd., in Arnold.

About 16 local acts will compete for cash prizes.

“We have many great acts this year, including a 19-year-old impressionist, a 16-year-old rapper, a 24-year-old woman with Down syndrome who dances with flags, a five-piece boys singing group and, of course, singers and dancers who range in age from 8 to 26,” said organizer Mark Hood, a Rotary Club member. “It should be a great show.”

In addition, Rotary Club members will provide comic relief, performing between acts in the competition.

The show is open to the public. Admission to the show is $10. Children 6 and younger may attend for free. Proceeds will benefit the Rotary Club, which each year donates money to a variety of local, national and international charitable projects and programs.

As part of the fundraiser, the Rotary Club is selling raffle tickets for a large, flat-screen TV. Second prize in the raffle is $250 worth of fireworks, third place is a $100 gift certificate from Stephen’s Photography and fourth prize is a 30-minute massage or facial from Celeslie’s Salon and Spa. Tickets may be purchased for $1 each or six for $5 from any Rotary Club member or at the event. The drawing will be held that night, but the winner doesn’t have to be present to win.
