James Duffie of Arnold won $100,000 in a Missouri Lottery game.
He bought the winning ticket at Circle K, 8401 Industrial Drive, in Cedar Hill.
Duffie won the prize in one of the Lottery’s newest games, called Queen of Hearts, a $5 scratchers game.
In the most recent fiscal year, players in Jefferson County won more than $30 million in Missouri Lottery prizes, and retailers received $3.1 million in commissions and bonuses for selling the tickets. In addition, another $7.8 million went to educational programs in the county, according to a written statement from the Missouri Lottery.
