Area farmers and craft makers will once again have plenty of opportunities to sell their wares at farmers markets across Jefferson County this year.
The market season kicked off Tuesday, May 3, with the Herculaneum Farmers Market, followed by the Cedar Hill Farmers Market on Friday, May 6. The Arnold and De Soto famers markets will begin operating Saturday, May 7.
The Hillsboro Farmers Market opens on Wednesday, May 11, and the Crystal City Farmers Market opens on Sunday, May 15.
The markets will be open through various dates in October.

■ Arnold, 2400 Bradley Beach Road, 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, May 7-Oct. 22.
■ Cedar Hill Farmers and Vendors Market, 1 Lynn Lane, 3-7 p.m. Saturdays, May 14-Oct. 29.
■ Crystal City, 105 Bailey Road, 1-5 p.m. Sundays, May 15-Oct. 9.
■ De Soto, 520 N. Main St., 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, May 7-Oct. 22.
■ Herculaneum, 776 Joachim Avenue, 3-6:30 p.m. Tuesdays, May 3-Oct. 11.
■ Hillsboro, 200 Bridle Ridge Lane, 3:30-6 p.m. Wednesdays, May 11-Oct. 12.
■ Peace Pantry Cedar Hill Farmers Market, 8100 S. Industrial Drive, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturdays, May 7-Oct. 29.
■ Route 66 in Eureka, 54 Legends Parkway, 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. May 21, June 4 and 18, July 16 and 30, Aug. 13 and 27, Sept. 10 and 24, and Oct. 8 and 22.
■ Wildwood, 221 Plaza Drive, 8 a.m. to noon Saturdays, May 28-Oct. 1.
