Missouri state highway patrol patch

Two House Springs women were hurt in a three-vehicle accident that happened at 4:05 p.m. Wednesday (July 10) on Hwy. 30 east of Valley Del Drive in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

Donald A. Iler, 62, of Fenton was driving a 2012 Chevrolet Cruze west on Hwy. 30 and had stopped at a red light, when Matthew J. Boyer, 31, of High Ridge failed to stop, and the front left side of his Honda Odyssey struck the right rear side of another westbound car involved in the accident, the report said.

Paula M. Diener, 49, of House Springs was driving the third vehicle involved in the accident, a 2003 Ford Focus. After Boyer’s minivan struck Diener’s Focus, it was pushed into Iler’s car, which then struck a concrete bridge barrier, according to the report.

Also, the left side of Boyer’s van struck the right side of Iler’s car, the report said.

Diener and a passenger in her car, Megan J. Diener, 16, of House Springs, both suffered moderate injuries and were taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, the report said.

No injuries were reported for the two men involved.

All those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
