Two men and a woman from Robertsville were injured late Thursday afternoon (Aug. 26) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 30 west of Sycamore Green Acres near Dittmer, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.

At 4:28 p.m., Jesse D. Harner, 76, of Robertsville was driving a westbound 2014 Chevrolet Silverado pickup and while turning left, pulled into the path of an eastbound 2016 Buick LaCrosse, and the front of the car struck the front right side of the pickup, the report said.

Michael J. Buckley, 54, of Robertsville was driving the car. He had minor injuries, and a passenger in the car – Pamela McDaniel, 54, of Robertsville – was seriously injured.

Harner was moderately injured.

All three were taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where McDaniel was listed in satisfactory condition this evening (Aug. 27), and the other two were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.

Harner and McDaniel were wearing seat belts, but Buckley was not wearing one, the patrol reported.

The car was totaled, and the pickup was extensively damaged, the report said.
