Men from Wildwood and Labadie were hurt in a single-vehicle traffic accident early Sunday morning, Feb. 5, on Hwy. 100 east of Country Aire Lane in the Pacific area of Franklin County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Mark Young, 42, of Wildwood was driving a 2020 Testa Model S west on Highway 100 at 1 a.m. when he drove off the right side of the road and into a sign and then a utility pole.
Young sustained minor injuries, but a passenger in the Tesla, Daniel Dillard, 38, of Labadie, suffered serious injuries. Both were taken by Metro West Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.
Updates on their conditions were not available.
Both were wearing seat belts, the report said. The Tesla was totaled, according to the report.
