A St. Louis man was injured Monday, Jan. 8, in a one-vehicle crash at I-55 and Hwy. M in Barnhart , the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10:20 p.m., Fatmir Jao, 44, was driving a northbound 2019 BMW X7 and the SUV traveled off the right side of the road and struck a guardrail, the report said.
Jao was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
According to the report, Jao was wearing a seat belt, and the BMW was moderately damaged.
