A north St. Louis County man was hurt in a single-vehicle traffic accident Friday evening (May 19) on I-55 in Barnhart.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Bryant Walker, 29, Florissant, was driving a 2004 Acura TL south on I-55 at Hwy. M at 7:25 p.m. when he lost control on the wet pavement and the Acura went off the right side of the road and ran into a highway sign.
Walker sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, the report said.
He was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
The Acura had extensive damage, the report said. Walker was wearing a seat belt, according to the report.
