A De Soto woman is in serious condition following a crash on Monday, Sept. 23, on Hwy. E south of Belleville Lane just south of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:05 p.m., Tammy L. Schneidewind, 59, was driving a southbound 2022 Nissan Pathfinder when it traveled off the right side of the road and struck some trees, the report said.
Schneidewind was seriously injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, the report said.
According to a hospital spokeswoman, as of this afternoon, Sept. 24, Schneidewind was in serious condition.
Schneidewind was reportedly wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle was totaled.
