A Barnhart teenager was injured Friday morning, Dec. 1, in a one-car crash on Old Hwy. 21 south of East Swaller Road in Imperial, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:55 a.m., Patricia P. Moss, 18, of Barnhart was driving a northbound 2000 Chevrolet Malibu when she applied the brakes, began to skid, ran off the left side of the road and overturned, the report said.
Moss was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
According to the report, Moss was wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle was totaled.
