James S. Bunten, 21, of O’Fallon was hurt Sunday evening (Sept. 11) in a motorcycle wreck on Twin River Road east of Maserang Drive in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 7:10 p.m., Bunten was riding a 2008 Yamaha east on Twin Rivers Road, and the bike ran off the left side of the road into a ditch and struck an embankment, the report said.
He sustained moderate injuries and was taken by private conveyance to SSM Health St. Joseph Hospital in Lake St. Louis, according to the report.
However, St. Joseph had no information about him, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Bunten was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The bike was extensively damaged, the report said.
