Mary P. Moran, 72, of Festus died Tuesday evening, May 30, in a one-vehicle accident on I-55 south of Hwy. TT south of Festus, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:58 p.m., Moran was driving a 2010 Cadillac SRX north on the interstate, and the SUV ran off the right side of the road and struck two bridge supports and then a rock bluff, the report said.
Moran was pronounced dead on the scene at 5:21 p.m., according to the report.
She was wearing a seat belt, and the Cadillac was totaled, the report said.
