Crystal City Police are investigating a reported hit-and-run incident on Truman Boulevard that left a 46-year-old Crystal City man with a broken ankle.
He was transported by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City for treatment.
The man reported he was walking on the southbound shoulder in the 1100 block of Truman about 7 p.m. Saturday (Oct. 15) when he was struck by what he described as a late ’70s gray pickup.
Police are canvassing area businesses to see if any video was captured on security cameras. As of Tuesday morning, none had surfaced. There were no other witnesses.
