An Imperial man was seriously hurt when the pickup he was riding in went off the side of road in Friday night (May 27) west of Marthasville in Warren County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that a 2007 Chevrolet Silverado was being driven south on Boone Monument Road just north of Hwy. 47 at 10:15 p.m. when it crested a hill and went airborne. The driver lost control and the Silverado went off the side of the road and overturned.
The driver then left the scene of the accident and ran off, leaving a passenger, Anthony Kloda, 35, of Imperial.
The driver’s name is still not known.
Kloda was taken by car to Mercy Hospital Washington, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Kloda was wearing a seat belt at the time of the accident, the report said. The Silverado was totaled.
