Fenton man was injured in a crash at Hwy. 30 and Lakenny Lane in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton on Monday, Oct. 30, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:52 p.m., William J. Koch, 62, was driving a westbound 2023 Kia Sedona and failed to yield to a 2011 Ford Escape driven east by Jason M. Murphy, 40, of St. Louis, striking the right side of the Escape and causing it to run off the right side of the road and strike a fence, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Murphy.
Koch was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
However, the hospital had no information about him, a Mercy spokesman said.
According to the report, Koch and Murphy were wearing seat belts, and both vehicles were totaled.
