A Cedar Hill woman and man were injured Friday afternoon, Aug. 16, in a one-car accident on Local Hillsboro Road east of Dulin Creek Road in Cedar Hill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 1:30 p.m., Kathy J. Shelton, 62, of Cedar Hill was driving a 2004 Mercury Grand Marquis west on Local Hillsboro Road, where the car ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree, the report said.
She and a passenger in the car – John Shelton, 64, of Cedar Hill – were moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
Both were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
