Jarod G. Mercer, 25, of Crystal City was injured Friday night, June 9, in a motorcycle crash at Hwy. E and Hardin Road south of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 11:40 p.m., he was riding a 2016 Honda CB 500F motorcycle north on the highway and struck an animal in the road before the bike overturned, the report said.
Mercer was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County.
He was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle had minor damage, the report said.
