An Imperial man was killed and a St. Louis man and woman were hurt Wednesday night (Nov. 2) when a car struck two motorcycles on Hwy. 141 south of Centurion Drive in the St. Louis County portion of Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Thomas L. Trostel, 56, of Imperial was riding a 2012 Harley-Davidson south on Hwy. 141 and was struck by a car traveling north in the southbound lanes, the report said.
The car, a 2014 Toyota Camry, was driven by Diane L. Gozdzialski, 64, of St. Louis, according to the report.
The car also struck a second southbound motorcycle, a 2015 Harley-Davidson driven by Christopher M. Lee, 44, of St. Louis, the report said.
Trostel was pronounced dead at the scene by Fenton Ambulance personnel.
Lee was seriously hurt and was taken by Fenton Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, where he was listed in satisfactory condition this afternoon (Nov. 3), a hospital spokeswoman said.
Gozdzialski sustained minor injuries and was taken by Fenton Ambulance to SSM St. Clare Health Center in Fenton, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Both Trostel and Lee were wearing helmets, and Gozdzialski was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
All three vehicles were totaled, the report said.
