An Imperial man was hurt in an off-road biking accident Friday evening (April 7) in St. Joe State Park in St. Francois County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Adam Bailey, 22, was riding a 1998 Honda CR250R in the off-road area of the park near Park Hills at 6:45 p.m. when he struck an embankment and was thrown from the bike.
Bailey sustained moderate injuries and was taken by St. Francois County Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, the report said.
He was listed in satisfactory condition on Sunday (April 9), a hospital spokeswoman said.
Bailey was wearing a helmet, the report said. The Honda had minor damage.
