An Imperial man was hurt in a motorcycle accident Thursday afternoon (April 12) on Amy Clark Road east of Hillsboro.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Dakota Clyburn, 27, was riding a 2014 Suzuki DR-Z400SM east on Amy Clark Road west of Roland Drive at 1:20 p.m. when he lost control of the motorcycle, which skidded across the center and off the left side of the road, where it struck a tree.
Clyburn, who was wearing a safety helmet, sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Valle Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County.
An update on his condition was not available.
The motorcycle had moderate damage, the report said.
