A House Springs man and woman were seriously hurt Tuesday night (Aug. 15) in a motorcycle accident on Dulin Creek Road just south of Fawn Woods Drive in House Springs, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 8:28 p.m., N. Neal Gray Jr., 49, of House Springs was riding a 2004 Yamaha YZF-R1 south on Dulin Creek Road, with Julia M. Schemmer, 49, of House Springs on the back of the bike, which struck a deer, ejecting both riders, the report said.
Both were taken to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur, with Schemmer being transported by helicopter, according to the report.
The two were wearing helmets, the patrol reported.
The bike was extensively damaged, the report said.
