A Hillsboro man was injured in a crash Monday, Sept. 16, on Old Hwy. 21 south of the Antonia Fire Protection District’s House 3 in Barnhart, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 5:50 p.m., Patrick M. Rueve, 60, was driving a southbound 2017 GMC Savana van when the vehicle failed to negotiate a right curve, traveled off the left side of the road and struck a tree, the report said.
Rueve was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, the report said.
As of Tuesday evening, Sept. 17, Rueve was in satisfactory condition, a hospital spokesman said.
