Tiffany N. Jackson, 33, of Crystal City was the woman killed this morning (Jan. 13) in a one-vehicle accident on I-55 south of Crystal City, the Missouri State Highway reports.
At 8:48 a.m., she was driving a 2005 Chevrolet Trailblazer north on I-55 south of Hwy. 67, which is south of Crystal City and Festus, traveling too fast for the road conditions, and lost control of the SUV on an icy overpass, and the SUV ran off the right side of the road and struck trees, the report said.
She was pronounced dead at the scene.
Jackson was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The SUV was totaled, the report said.
