Jessica M. Melton, 32, of High Ridge was hurt Tuesday afternoon (Feb. 4) in a one-car accident on Hwy. BB west of Glade Chapel Road north of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:50 p.m., Melton was driving a 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix west on the highway, and the car ran off the right side of the road and struck a rock bluff, the report said.
She was moderately hurt and taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokeswoman said.
Melton was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was extensively damaged, the report said.
