Eve M. Smith, 75, of High Ridge was injured late Friday afternoon (Nov. 27) in a two-vehicle accident on Hwy. 30 east of Valley Del Drive in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:15 p.m., Smith was driving a 2006 Ford Focus east on the highway and failed to notice an eastbound 2020 Chevrolet Equinox stopped ahead at a red light, and the front of the Focus struck the back of the Equinox, the report said.
Nicole L. Davis, 35, of Festus was driving the Equinox. No injuries were reported for her.
Smith was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Focus was totaled, and the Equinox was moderately damaged, the report said.
