At 8:25 a.m., Jason J. John H. Reardon, 27, of High Ridge was driving the Camry, and McDowell was driving the Optima.
No injuries were reported for Leeker or Reardon.
McDowell, however, was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in satisfactory condition today (Jan. 21), a hospital spokesman said.
All those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
