Lisa D. Winkler, 58, of High Ridge was injured late Tuesday afternoon (June 8) in a two-vehicle accident on Gravois Road in Jefferson County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:01 p.m., she was driving a 2010 Lexus HS west on Gravois, crossed over the center of the road, and the front of the car hit an eastbound 2001 Mazda B3000 pickup head-on, the report said.
A 17-year-old male from Fenton was driving the pickup. No injuries were reported for him.
However, Winkler was moderately injured and taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in satisfactory condition on Thursday afternoon (June 9), a hospital spokesman said.
Both Winkler and the teen were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two vehicles were totaled, the report said.
The patrol did not release the teen’s name because he is a juvenile.
