Edward A. Werner, 65, of High Ridge was seriously hurt Friday afternoon (Aug. 18) in a motorcycle wreck on Brennan Road west of Brennan Woods Drive in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 2:24 p.m., Werner was riding a 2006 Honda Shadow west on Brennan Road and while trying to negotiate a curve to the left, lost control of the bike, which overturned and ran off the right side of the road, ejecting him, the report said.
Werner was taken by North Jefferson County Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County.
He was wearing a helmet, the patrol reported.
The bike was moderately damaged, the report said.
