Christopher M. Gruendler, 36, of High Ridge was hurt Thursday morning (Jan. 14) in a one-vehicle accident on I-55 at the 147 mile marker in Ste. Genevieve County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.

At 7:50 a.m., Gruendler was driving a 2000 Ford F250 south on I-55, and the pickup slid off the right side of the road, where it struck a rock bluff and overturned, the report said.

Gruendler sustained moderate injuries and was taken by ambulance to Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital.

He was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.

The pickup was totaled, the report said.
