Six people, including five House Springs residents, were hurt Thursday night (Oct. 25) in a three-vehicle accident at Hwy. 30 and West Rock Creek Road in High Ridge, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 9:30 p.m., Elizabeth A. Cronin, 52, of House Springs was driving a westbound 2016 Hyundai Santa Fe and while attempting to turn left onto West Rock Creek Road, the Santa Fe struck the left front side of an eastbound 2012 Nissan Frontier, which was pushed into the path of an eastbound 2010 Toyota Yaris, and the front of the Yaris struck the rear of the Frontier, the report said.
Riley G. Fewell, 24, of House Springs was driving the Frontier, and Katherine A. Hermann, 31, of St. Charles was driving the Yaris, according to the report.
Cronin and three passengers in the Santa Fe – Carolyn E. Cronin, 13; Lauren C. Cronin, 11; and Liam A. Cronin, 14, all of House Springs – had minor injuries.
Fewell was moderately hurt, and Hermann had minor injuries, the report said.
The Cronins and Fewell were taken by ambulances to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton, and Hermann was taken by private conveyance to St. Clare, according to the report.
All those involved in the accident were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The three vehicles were totaled, the report said.
