Danielle J. O’Brien, 19, of Festus was hurt in a one-car accident that happened this morning (July 26) on Hillsboro House Springs Road south of Glade Chapel Road in the Hillsboro area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 10:48 a.m., O’Brien was driving a 2003 Honda Accord south on Hillsboro House Springs Road, and the car ran off the right side of the road and struck a ditch, the report said.
O’Brien sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Big River Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where she was listed in good condition this afternoon, a hospital spokesman said.
She was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
