A 17-year-old Festus boy was injured Sunday night, May 21, in a one-car accident on Hwy. T north of Autumn Ridge Road south of Festus, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 10 p.m., the teenager was driving a westbound 2010 Chevrolet Cobalt when he traveled off the road, where the car struck a utility pole and overturned, the report said.
The teen was moderately injured and taken by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, the report said.
According to the report, the driver was wearing a seat belt and the vehicle was totaled.
The patrol did not release the 17-year-old’s name because he is a juvenile.
