Norman W. Bahlow, 78, of Festus was killed Friday night (Sept. 7) in a head-on accident on Hwy. A west of Plass Road in the Hillsboro area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 8:33 p.m., Bahlow was driving a 1998 Buick Century east on Hwy. A, crossed the center line, and the front of the car struck the front of a westbound 1995 Chevrolet S10 pickup driven by Arthur A. Speth, 54, of Hillsboro, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Speth.
Bahlow was pronounced dead at the scene by Valle Ambulance personnel, the report said.
Both men were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two vehicles were totaled, the report said.
