Jacob R. Pesick, 19, of Festus was injured early Monday morning (June 11) in a one-car accident on Hwy. 141 south of Romaine Creek Road in the Jefferson County portion of Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 3:02 a.m., Pesick was driving a 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo south on Hwy. 141, and the car ran off the right side of the highway, where it struck a guardrail and several trees, the report said.
He was moderately injured and transported by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Pesick was wearing a seatbelt, the patrol reported.
The Monte Carlo was extensively damaged, the report said.
