A Festus man was hurt in a two-vehicle traffic accident Saturday afternoon (March 13) on Twin River Road in the Eureka area.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Daniel Kirchner, 58, of House Springs was driving a 2014 Ford Focus west on Twin River Road (Hwy. PP) at 1:15 p.m. when he slowed to make a left turn onto Byrnes Mill Road and the front of his car was struck by an eastbound 2007 Nissan Altima driven by Alexander Hall, 22, of Festus.
Hall sustained moderate injuries and he was taken by North Jefferson Ambulance to SSM Health St. Clare Hospital in Fenton.
An update on his condition was not available.
The report made no mention of an injury to Kirchner.
Kirchner was wearing a seat belt but Hall was not, the report said. Both vehicles were totaled.
