A Festus man was hurt in a one-vehicle accident early Sunday morning, June 26, on Hwy. DD west of Bloomsdale in Ste. Genevieve County.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Curtis Turner, 57, was driving a 2014 Dodge Ram 2500 pickup on Hwy. DD west of Autumn Oak Drive at 6:20 a.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve to the right and the truck went off the south side of the road and ran into a tree.
Turner sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Ste. Genevieve County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, the report said.
An update on his condition was not available.
Turner was not wearing a seat belt, the report said. The truck was totaled, according to the report.
