Emily S. Schmitz, 26, of Fenton was hurt Tuesday evening (Sept. 8) in a one-car accident on Fiedler Lane east of Bridleton Woods Lane in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:55 p.m., Schmitz was driving a 2000 Chevrolet Cavalier east on Fiedler Lane and ran off the right side of the road, where the car struck a tree, the report said.
She was moderately injured and taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Schmitz was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
