Jessica A. O’Dell, 26, of Fenton was injured Tuesday evening (April 21) in a motorcycle accident on Romaine Creek Road east of Green Creek Drive in unincorporated Fenton, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 4:51 p.m., O’Dell was riding a 2019 Kawasaki EX650 east on Romaine Creek Road, and when a car ahead stopped to turn left onto Green Creek Drive, the motorcycle began to skid and overturned. O’Dell was ejected from the bike, which then struck the rear of the car, a 2017 Chevrolet Malibu driven by Shi Anne S. Stranger, 23, of Cedar Hill, the report said.
No injuries were reported for Stranger.
However, O’Dell was moderately hurt, taken by Rock Township Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, and treated and released there, a hospital spokesman said.
O’Dell was wearing a helmet, and Stranger was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The motorcycle was moderately damaged, and the car had minor damage, the report said.
