A Dittmer woman and a Hillsboro man were hurt Thursday evening (Sept. 17) in a two-vehicle accident on Sunrise School Road just east of Hwy. E south of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 5:44 p.m., Megan A. Drennen, 28, of Dittmer was driving a 2006 Dodge 1500 east on Sunrise School Road, and the pickup crossed the center line and the front of it struck the driver-side of a westbound pickup, the report said.
Larry J. Rhoden, 49, of Hillsboro was driving the other pickup, a 2007 Chevrolet 2500.
Drennen sustained moderate injuries and Rhoden minor injuries, and they both were taken by Valle Ambulance to Mercy Hospital Jefferson in Crystal City, the report said.
The hospital had no information about Drennen’s condition today (Sept. 18), and Rhoden had been treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Both Drennen and Rhoden were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Dodge pickup was extensively damaged, and the Chevy pickup sustained moderate damage, the report said.
