Michael R. Hill, 41, of Desloge was hurt in a two-car accident late Monday afternoon (April 6) on I-55 north of Imperial Main Street, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 4:05 p.m., Hill was driving a 2006 Dodge Stratus south on I-55, and the front of his car struck the rear of another southbound car, a 2007 Kia Rio, the report said.
Gregory M. Garrett, 33, of De Soto was driving the Rio. No injuries were reported for him.
Hill sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Rock Township Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Both Hill and Garrett were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The Stratus was extensively damaged, and the Rio moderately damaged, the report said.
