Two people were injured Sunday night (Nov. 25) in a crossover wreck on Hwy. B south of Klondike Road in Morse Mill, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At about 10:10 p.m., Kali R. Smith, 24, of De Soto, driving a southbound 2007 Jeep Patriot, crossed the center line on Hwy. B and hit a northbound 2003 Chevrolet Malibu, which was being driven by Brandon A. Vitale, 26, of St. Peters. The left front of the Jeep struck the left side of the Malibu, the report said.
Vitale and Smith were moderately injured and taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South (formerly St. Anthony’s Medical Center) in south St. Louis County, where they were treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Both Vitale and Smith were wearing seat belts, the patrol reported.
The two vehicles were totaled, the report said.
