A De Soto woman was injured Wednesday, Aug. 2, in a one-car crash on Hwy. Y south of Fox Lane west of Hillsboro, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:50 p.m., Pamela L. Null, 75, of De Soto was driving a southbound 2010 Chevrolet Malibu and failed to negotiate a curve, and the car ran off the left side of the road and struck a utility pole and a tree, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
Null was moderately injured and taken by Valle Ambulance District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County where she was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
According to the report Null was wearing a seat belt, and the vehicle was extensively damaged.
