Tonya F. Conaway, 29, of De Soto was hurt in a one-car accident that happened at 4 p.m. Tuesday (Sept. 6) on Klondike Road south of Hwy. E in the De Soto area, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
Conaway was driving a 2002 Chevrolet Impala north on Klondike Road and failed to negotiate a curve to the left and then overcorrected before the car ran off the right side of the road and overturned, coming to rest on its wheels, the report said.
She sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Valle Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County.
Conaway was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The car was totaled, the report said.
