A 41-year-old De Soto woman was injured in a one-vehicle traffic accident Thursday afternoon (Sept. 6) in Bloomsdale in Ste. Genevieve County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 12:54 p.m., Sherry Baughman, 41, was driving a 2010 Jeep Patriot south on Hwy. OO about 7/10ths of a mile from Hwy. DD, when she drove off the east side of the road and struck a fence and a tree before it overturned.
Baughman was moderately injured and taken by St. Francois County Ambulance to Mercy Hospital St. Louis in Creve Coeur.
An update on her condition was not available.
Baughman was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The Jeep was totaled, the report said.
