Roy J. Bresh, 77, of De Soto was killed this afternoon (March 11) in a one-vehicle accident at I-55 and Hwy. 67 south of Festus, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reports.
At 12:32 p.m., Bresh was driving a 2003 Mazda B4000 south on the exit ramp from I-55 to southbound 67, and the pickup began sliding on the wet pavement, ran off the left side of the road and began spinning before the left side of it struck a tree, the report said.
Bresh was pronounced dead at the scene by Joachim-Plattin Ambulance personnel.
He was wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was totaled, the report said.
