A De Soto man was hurt in a single-vehicle traffic accident Monday evening (Feb. 20) on Flucom Road east of De Soto.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Nicholas Williams, 34, was driving a 2004 Chevrolet Avalanche west on Flucom Road west of Fox Farm Road at 7 p.m. when he failed to negotiate a curve and drove it off the left side of the road, where it struck a tree.
Williams sustained moderate injuries and was taken by Valle Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, the report said.
He was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
Williams was not wearing a seat belt, the report said. His sports utility vehicle had moderate damage.
