A 32-year-old De Soto man was injured Monday (Sept. 17) in a one-vehicle accident on Upper Plattin Road west of Hencher Road east of De Soto, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At noon, the man was driving a 2005 Pontiac Montana east on Upper Plattin Road, and the minivan ran off the right side of the road and struck a tree, the report said.
The man was moderately injured and transported by Valle Ambulance to St. Anthony’s Medical Center in south St. Louis County, where he was treated and released, a hospital spokesman said.
The driver was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The van had minor damage, the report stated.
Later that day, the man was arrested for alleged felony forgery, according to the patrol.
