Chasidy N. Clemmons, 18, of Crystal City was hurt late Friday evening (Aug. 30) in a one-vehicle accident on I-270 south of Dougherty Ferry Road in St. Louis County, the Missouri State Highway Patrol reported.
At 6:55 p.m., Clemmons was driving a 2007 Dodge Dakota south on the interstate, and the pickup hydroplaned, struck a median wall and overturned, the report said.
She was moderately injured and taken by the Kirkwood Fire Protection District to Mercy Hospital South in south St. Louis County, according to the report.
Clemmons was not wearing a seat belt, the patrol reported.
The pickup was extensively damaged, the report said.
