A Cedar Hill woman was seriously hurt in a one-vehicle traffic accident Friday morning (Oct. 12) on Hwy. BB in Cedar Hill.
The Missouri State Highway Patrol reported that Shellie Clark, 44, was driving a 2005 Ford Escape south on Hwy. BB south of Ashley Hill Road at 11:30 a.m. when she drove off the right side of the road, returned the Ford to the road but overcorrected, sending the vehicle off the side of the road, where it overturned.
Clark, who was not wearing a seat belt, sustained serious injuries and was taken by Big River Ambulance to Mercy Hospital South (formerly St. Anthony’s Medical Center) in south St. Louis County, the report said.
An update on her condition was not available.
The Ford was totaled, the report said.
